• The item's icon shows a piece of mucus, a common symptom of the common cold. Typically yellow mucus is characteristic of a mild infection, whereas green mucus is associated with a more advanced stage of the disease, hence the poison effect.
• In the original The Binding of Isaac, this item also belonged to the Devil Room pool.
