- Opens all doors in the room, including [SecretRoom][SuperSecretRoom]Secret Rooms, [ChallengeRoom][BossRushRoom]Challenge Rooms, and the Mega Satan door
Trivia
- This item is used in The Family Man (challenge #19) and Red Redemption (challenge #44), as well as the June 19th curated daily challenge.
- Dad's Key may be a reference to Isaac's father leaving his mother, as it can be used to escape from almost any conflict.
- In Wrath of the Lamb, this item was unlocked by beating ??? for the first time.
- The function of this item is very similar to the Magical Key from The Legend of Zelda
