- The Boomerang is a recurring item in The Legend of Zelda series. The icon used is the same one as in the first The Legend of Zelda game.
- This item is used in I RULE! (challenge #26).
- This item can be found as one of the Nintendo-themed Treasure Room items in the 6th of December's Daily Run, which is an homage to the late CEO of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata.
Bugs
Bug! The Boomerang can collide with The Ladder when deployed, causing it to immediately return to Isaac when thrown. It doesn't always happen. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
