Bumbo is a passive item added in The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth.
Description
- [Coin] Picks up nearby coins
- Levels up after getting 6, 12, and 24 coins
- Lv2: Chance to spawn item after room clears
- Lv3: Shoots tears that can spawn coins on hit
- Lv4: Chases enemies, occasionally dropping bombs, can spawn item on coin pickup

- Bumbo is the main character of his own game, The Legend of Bum-Bo, designed by Edmund McMillen.
- The name is a play on the word bum and Rambo.
- Bumbo Level 1 looks similar to Bum Friend's head.
Bugs
Bug! Bumbo's level can be reset after the sequence of obtaining Knife Piece 2 in Ashpit/Mines II. Bug! Collision between Bumbo and other bum familiars such as Dark Bum can prevent them from collecting pickups if you're holding one of the firing buttons upon entering a room
