Sharp Key is an activated item added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.
Description
- [Key] +5 Keys
- Throws one of Isaac's keys in the direction he shoots
- Thrown keys deal damage, destroy obstacles, and open doors
- Enemies killed with keys can spawn the contents of a chest, including items
Trivia
- Sharp Key originates from the Antibirth mod, where it was less powerful, as killing enemies with it did not drop chest contents.
- This item can be considered to be the Key counterpart to Blood Bombs. Both items can use their respective pickups at the expense of another, with Sharp Key sacrificing Keys, while Blood Bombs sacrifices health.
Bugs
Bug! When used to open the Vault or the Dice Room, the animation displays only one key being inserted instead of two. Keys Items
