Intro
Flip is an unlockable activated item added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance. It is the starting item for Tainted Lazarus.
Description
- Entering a room with item pedestals displays a ghostly second item on the pedestals
- Using the item flips the real and ghostly item
- Using Flip after taking the first item allows Isaac to pick up the other item
- [Warning] Ghostly items alone on pedestals disappear after leaving the room
Trivia
- Flip's icons are the alchemy symbols for death and life, respectively.
- Prior to patch V1.7.6, Flip's pickup quote was "Life and death".
- Prior to patch V1.7.6, using Flip as a character other than Tainted Lazarus after having previously used Esau Jr. would switch between Esau Jr. and the base character. This was most likely a bug, as Flip was not yet obtainable for other characters besides using Death Certificate or as a starting item for Eden.
