Sloth

Sloth is a mini-boss and one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

• According to Edmund McMillen, Sloth's first name is Bob, and Sloth is his last name. His first name is referenced by the items Bob's Rotten Head, Bob's Curse and Bob's Brain, and is also referenced by the Bob transformation.
• Furthermore, Edmund confirmed that Bob is Isaac’s father’s brother, which makes Bob Isaac’s uncle.
• This may possibly be just a joke based on the phrase "Bob's your uncle".
• Sloth's sprite is just a re-coloring of the Globin enemy, and doesn't have a unique head like the other sins. This may have been done humorously to match his sin, Sloth (laziness).
• The Seven Deadly Sins that these mini-bosses are based upon are, in Christian teachings, a classification of vices from which all others are derived from.
• Sloth is a personification of one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Sloth is an excessive aversion towards difficulty in regards towards doing good, or moral/spiritual laziness.
