Trinity Shield is a passive item.

• The item is a reference to the Shield of the Trinity.
• This item is used in I RULE! (challenge #26) and Isaac's Awakening (challenge #39).
• Although this item is normally only available in the Angel Room, it can be found as one of the Nintendo-themed Treasure Room items in the 6th of December's Daily Run, which is an homage to the late CEO of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata.

Bug! When Pause is used with Trinity Shield it creates a second shield that stays in place where Isaac used "Pause" which lasts for the active item's duration. Moreover both shields are flashing and can not block enemy tears for the duration. Bug! Swapping characters using Esau Jr. or as Tainted Lazarus will leave a stationary copy of the shield until Isaac leaves the room. The stationary shield still blocks tears.
