• Gives Isaac a chance to fire tears that create rifts where they land, which damage nearby enemies and pull in enemies, pickups, and tears/shots from all sources for 2 seconds.
• Rifts deal 0.5x Isaac's damage twice each tick (3x Isaac's damage per second), and enemy shots pulled into the rift will damage other enemies.
• The size of the rift increases with Isaac's damage.

• The chance to fire a rift tear depends on the luck stat, and the formula used to determine the chance is: min ( 1 20 − ⌊ L u c k ⌋ , 20 % ) {\displaystyle \min(\frac1 { 20 - \left \lfloor \mathit{Luck} \right \rfloor},20\%)} [1]
• At base Luck (0), the chance is 5%, maxing out at 20% at 15 Luck.
• Not recommended for Mother fight as the rift accelerates inbound projectiles, making them harder to dodge.

• Brimstone: Rifts may appear where a brimstone beam hits rock, walls or enemies.
• The Parasite / Compound Fracture: Causes many smaller rifts to also spawn.
• The Ludovico Technique: Each tick of damage has chance of creating rift, which will be slightly bigger in size.
• Tech X: Rifts may appear where a laser ring hits rock, walls or enemies.
• Technology / Technology 2: Rifts may appear where a laser hits rock, walls or enemies.
• Trisagion: May spawn a line of rifts where the laser travels.
