Salvation is an unlockable passive item added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

• The item resembles the Ichthys symbol, which was a symbol used by early Christians, and is associated with Jesus Christ.
• The halo produced by the item resembles Jesus' Crown of Thorns, and the filename for the effect's graphics is halo_thorns.png.
• Dogma and its television will have a wavy and distorted appearance while in range of Salvation.
• Salvation is especially effective against segmented bosses, as each segment can be targeted by an initial beam, and the cardinal beams deal extra damage by damaging other segments.

Bug! When Pause is used with Salvation it creates a second halo that stays in place where Isaac used "Pause" which lasts for the active item's duration.
