Fissure

The Fissure is a monster exclusive to Downpour, resembling a fish wearing a skull on its head. Fissures do not need to be defeated to clear the room, and rather act as a stage hazard, spawning endlessly by jumping out of pits and bouncing off walls until they land in a pit again. They can be damaged normally, despite their vague resemblance to Hosts. If a fissure goes too long without re-entering a pit it dies.

• Fissure is based off of the monster of the same name from The End is Nigh.
